In this week’s episode, host and Pastor Chris Gordon welcomes Pastor Dan Borvan back to the studio. They discuss the importance of preaching that as the Bible progresses, it reveals more and more about the salvation of Christ and how to accurately apply that knowledge to the Christian life. They express appreciation for church members who thoughtfully and intentionally listen to their sermons each week,, even though doing so can seem completely counterintuitive to our modern society. The conversation extends to concern over the artificial presentation of Jesus in many churches today, underscoring the significance of redemptive historical preaching. In a time where many Christians are beat down in this culture war, they discuss how important it is to refer to scripture to remind Christians to take comfort that we are safe in Christ, no matter what happens in this world.
