Show Notes

In this week’s episode, Pastor Chris Gordon welcomes guest Rev. Dr. Daniel Borvan back to discuss the final two marks of a true church: the sacraments and church discipline. They go over why the sacraments are sacred and shouldn’t be taken lightly, and dive into the sensitive issue of church discipline. They discuss how many people have trouble submitting to church authority but often don’t know what to do when a loved one falls away. They speak candidly about the importance of administering discipline in a loving, biblical way in order to bring those who have gone astray back into the church, and back to the Lord. They discuss the importance of finding a true church and the step-by step process of how to leave a church that lacks these all-important marks.
