Show Notes

In this episode of Abounding Grace Radio, Rev. Chris Gordon is joined by Rev. Daniel Borvan to walk through the significant events of Passion Week as recorded in Matthew 26 and Mark 14. They focus on the stark juxtaposition between those who radically embrace Christ and those who violently reject Him. The conversation highlights the beautiful memorial of the woman who anointed Jesus for His burial, a testimony of love that stands in sharp contrast to the murderous plots of the religious elite.

The speakers delve into the hypocrisy of the chief priests and scribes who celebrated the Passover while simultaneously plotting to kill the true Passover Lamb. They also discuss the institution of the Lord's Supper, noting how Jesus provided this means of grace during His most distressing hour to comfort and strengthen His disciples throughout history. The episode concludes with a sobering look at Judas’s betrayal, fueled by a love for money and a hardened heart.
