In today’s show, Pastor Chris Gordon is joined by guest Dr. W. Robert Godfrey to ask what is the purpose of corporate worship and what it should look like to God. They talk about the distorted representation of religion in the media and how the church is often perceived to the outside world, including how some view the Reformed faith as boring and devoid of emotions. They examine how the misuse of music and the teaching over preaching approach can cause a noted distraction from true worship. Don’t miss this emotional episode that shows how genuine feelings come in all different packages and you never know how or when someone is going to be moved by the word of God.
