Show Notes

In today’s episode, Rev. Dr. Jon D. Payne of Christ Church Presbyterian in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina sits down with Pastor Chris Gordon in the AGR studio.
Their conversation centers around the many distractions that keep pastors from truly preaching the Gospel, and believers from clearly hearing it. They refer to the importance of the right mindset of The Apostles in the New Testament, and their drive to stay focused on preaching Christ and calling for repentance. This conversation is a sound reminder for us to remain confident that God is still building his church, even as we see many churches focus on good works over the Good News of the Gospel.
