Show Notes
Does Jesus want a Christian nation? Pastor Chris Gordon welcomes his former Westminster professor Dr. David VanDrunen to the AGR studio to answer this question and many more. They discuss one of his books “Living In God’s Two Kingdoms”, as well as the writings of Doug Wilson and Stephen Wolfe, as they tackle the topic of Christian Nationalism, the collapse of Christendom and how believers should respond to a society spinning out of control. They look to the New Testament for guidance on how Christians should be spiritually framing our nation’s raging culture wars, and how to stay true to the path the Lord has called us to take.

Rev. Chris Gordon and Dr. R. Scott Clark explain why Christian witness is not a sales pitch: believers pray for opportunities, speak honestly about Christ, and trust the Holy Spirit to work through the preached gospel.
Jesus Is the Rock
Moses was barred from the Promised Land not simply for striking the rock, but for meeting Israel's complaining with anger instead of holding out God's appointed remedy. The sermon shows that the answer to grumbling hearts is not law and wrath but Christ, the Rock who was struck for us.

Nothing But the Truth - 1 Kings 22
Today's sermon presses a single question: do we want what God has actually said, or what we think God should say?
Do vs. Done: The Law/Gospel Distinction with Dr. R. Scott Clark - Part 2
Rev. Chris Gordon and Dr. R. Scott Clark continue their conversation on the distinction between law and gospel, arguing that the issue is not only doctrine but tone. Preach the law in full force, they say, and then send burdened sinners to Christ without conditions.
Forgiven by the Judge by our Father: Understanding Two Kinds of Divine Forgiveness
If Christ has secured the forgiveness of all our sins, why do we still pray daily for forgiveness?
