Drawing from Proverbs 3:5-8, Pastor Gordon calls Christians to a whole-hearted, lifelong trust in God that extends beyond initial justification into every aspect of daily life, resisting the temptation to lean on our own understanding. The greatest threat to this trust is turning inward for counsel, which leads to anxiety and sin, while acknowledging God in all things brings the peace, guidance, and blessing He promises to the righteous. Because Christ has borne our sins and sealed every promise, we have every reason to rest in His sovereign care rather than live by our own wisdom.
